Easy
does it.
Run a little. Walk a little. Talk a lot. An easygoing outing where the conversation sets the pace.
TEXAS ROOTS. OPEN MINDS.
A little less pace pressure. A lot more outside.
Welcome to Texas Hill Country Running.
THC stands for Texas Hill Country.
And yes, we know what else it stands for.
We’re a running club for people who love this little corner of Texas. The limestone trails. The big-sky mornings. The conversations that make the miles disappear.
Some of us partake. Some of us don’t. All of us belong. Whether your thing is a runner’s high, a different kind of high, or just getting out of the house, there’s room for you here.
No pressure to partake.
No pressure to PR.
Some days you chase a hill.
Some days you just need the company.
Run a little. Walk a little. Talk a lot. An easygoing outing where the conversation sets the pace.
A little climbing. A little dirt. A good excuse to stop for the view. Hill Country doing what it does best.
For the days when a few more miles sound like a good idea. Find your rhythm and settle into the scenery.
Our kind of running. Specific routes, distances, and pace groups will be shared with each meet-up.

THE THC STATE OF MIND
The double meaning is part of the fun. The community is the reason we show up.
First mile or fiftieth race, you have a place here.
Partaking is personal. Belonging isn’t conditional.
Look out for each other. Respect the land. Pack it out.
03 / GOOD TO KNOW
A few things before you lace up.
Nope. Cannabis-friendly means welcoming, never mandatory. Sober, curious, occasional, or not your thing at all—you’re equally welcome. The shared interest is getting outside together.
Then you’re in the right place. Walking breaks count. Starting slowly counts. Showing up counts. Check each meet-up’s route and pace details to find an outing that feels right for you.
The Hill Country is our home, and trails are a big part of the appeal. But you don’t need a trail-running résumé or a fancy watch. A little curiosity and a comfortable pair of shoes are a good start.
We’re getting the first meet-up together. Once it’s set, we’ll post the date, start time, trailhead, distance, and pace details here. Until then, consider this your introduction to the crew.
Open-minded and considerate. The name is a wink, and the running is real. There’s no expectation to consume, no pressure to explain your choices, and no reason anyone should feel left out.
YOUR NEXT GOOD THING STARTS OUTSIDE.
We’re bringing the crew together. The first date, route, and meeting spot will land right here when they’re set.
Until then, keep a little room in your weekend.
